(1) Transfer training: transfer training for exercise bed wheelchair, wheelchair toilet, wheelchair bathtub, wheelchair ground, etc. For example: when training the transfer from wheelchair to ground, first lock the wheelchair with brake, move the hip slowly to the front edge of the cushion, the affected hand holds the same side armrest, the healthy hand reaches to the ground, then the center of gravity moves to the healthy side, the hip leaves the seat gradually, and the upper limb of the healthy side slowly bends the elbow while supporting the body, so that the patient sits on the ground. When the patient is seated back to the wheelchair from the ground, fix the wheelchair well, keep the body as close to the wheelchair seat as possible, straighten up his chest and bend his elbow, and support his upper limbs at the front edge of the seat cushion, and tilt his head backward, and push his hips up with his arms to move to the seat, and then adjust the sitting position slowly.
(2) Decompression training: patients are in wheelchair, supporting the body with their upper limbs every 15-20 minutes, lifting the buttocks for decompression. If the muscle strength of triceps is weak and cannot be supported by hand, the torso can be tilted to leave the cushion on one side of the buttock. After a while, the other hip will be lifted to relieve pressure alternately to the left and right hips.
(3) Push and backward training: the patient is sitting steadily at the hip, keeping the body balanced, eyes looking forward, then extending his arms backward, elbow joint slightly bent, holding the wheel ring (slightly backward), leaning forward slightly, and pushing the wheel ring forward with both arms at the same time, making the wheelchair move forward and repeat the above actions. When you step back, you move your arms in the opposite direction, and your body is slightly forward and back slowly.
(4) Training along the stone or step of the road: first, under the protection of the therapist, practice balance on the rear wheel. The patient pushes the two wheel rings with the same force to make the small wheel suspended, the wheelchair tilts backward, and the hands constantly adjust the wheel ring or front or rear, and under the coordination of the body, the rear wheel of the wheelchair will be balanced when the wheel is grounded. When you are proficient in this skill, you can practice the steps. When passing the steps, the wheelchair faces the steps, with a distance of about 20cm, the body tilts forward slightly. Hold the rear of the wheel ring with both hands and push forward quickly with the same force. At this time, the small wheel is lifted and dropped on the step, and then the wheel is pushed forward by the force until the whole wheelchair passes the step.
(5) Training on the upper and lower slopes: the patient exercises to push or pull the hands simultaneously, and learn to use the brake flexibly so that the car can be stopped as soon as possible when the control is out of control.
(6) Open and close the door in wheelchair: for the general door, it is necessary to pull back when opening the door; when entering the door, it can be closed only after it is back.
(7) Other training: including standing up or sitting from chair, special exercises of special control (such as electric, pneumatic, jaw, voice, tongue controlled wheelchair), upper limb muscle strength, overall physical strength and endurance training, etc.
