Sports wheelchair customization

In the early morning of August 29th, Beijing time, the opening ceremony of the 17th Summer Paralympic Games was held in Paris, France, and French President Macron announced the official opening of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

At the opening ceremony, five torchbearers lit the main torch tower set up in the Tuileries Garden in Paris, and the Paralympic flame illuminated Paris.

For example, wheelchair basketball players may need a stronger and more flexible wheelchair, while wheelchair athletics athletes may need a lighter and faster wheelchair.

In addition, personalized adjustments will be made based on factors such as the athlete's body size, strength, flexibility, and sports technology. This includes the size of the wheelchair, seat angle, pedal position, weight and balance point of the wheelchair, etc.

In addition, in competitive sports, the design and modification of wheelchairs also need to comply with the rules of the corresponding sports. For example, some sports may have specific requirements for the weight, size or additional equipment of the wheelchair.
